The mother of Caleb Mutfwang, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau state, has died.
She died on Sunday at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), where she was on admission following an illness.
Mutfwang who announced the sad news on his twitter handle, said he and his family were attending the annual thanksgiving service by the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) at its Jos headquarters, when his mother passed on in the hospital.
“My family and I were at the COCIN Headquarters Church, attending the Annual Thanksgiving Service, when we received the news that my mum; who had been on admission at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), was called to be with the Lord.
“As a family we mourn her loss, but also celebrate her impactful life.
“We solicit your prayers for the fortitude to enable us pass through this period. Thank you all so much”, he said on twitter.
