The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Governor Simon Lalong, as the Director General of its presidential campaign council.
The National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, announced this on Thursday while speaking with journalists after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The APC Presidential flag bearer, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, were at the meeting.
Adamu said, the choice of Lalong as DG of the campaign council is based on his capacity to deliver.
The party chairman also announced that the minister of state for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, is to serve as interim spokesperson for the presidential campaign council.
