The Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman, Plateau State Council of Chiefs, Da Gyang Buba, has lamented the deplorable security situation in the country, saying “no one spared and no where is safe.”
The traditional ruler spoke when members of the House of Representatives Committee on Industry, paid him a courtesy visit in his Palace during their oversight function to the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Jos.

the federal government and the National Assembly to put their acts together and crush all criminal elements terrorising the country.
Buba lamented that just recently some “gunmen stormed my territory in Kuru village and unleashed mayhem on innocent people, killing at least 12 persons”.
He added that there are many such attacks on many communities every day as criminals unleashed mayhem unchallenged.
“No one is spared and nowhere is safe, therefore, it is high time the federal executive and federal legislative councils put their heads together and found lasting solution to this national calamity.
“I am confident that for any problem, there must always be solution and Nigerians are eagerly waiting for the government to proffer solution to this also.
“Nigeria needs peace to develop like other nations across the world, so the federal and state governments must do something to end insecurity”, the traditional ruler said.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Dolapo Baduru, assured that government was doing everything possible to address the security challenges.
