The Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC ) plans to explore more holy sites in Turkey and other countries for spiritually fulfilment.
The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Rev. Yakubu Pam, disclosed this during a visit to the Italian Consulate on Friday in Lagos.
The visit was in preparations for the commencement of the 2022 pilgrimage to Rome and Israel, expected to commence by the middle of October.
Pam said, the Commission’s pilgrimage destinations include Israel, Jordan, Rome and Greece.
According to him, the Italian Consul General, Mr. Ugo Boni, has assured of cooperation and assistance in facilitating speedy visa procurement for the intending pilgrims and officials.
“I assure the Consul General that the Commission will continue to strengthen the bilateral relationship that exist between Nigeria and Italy through robust pilgrimage exercise”, the NCPC Executive Secretary said on his twitter handle.
