The newly appointed governors in Plateau state are to be sworn in on Friday by Governor, Caleb Mutfwang.
The swearing-in followed the screening and confirmation of 19 nominees submitted to state House of Assembly by the governor. Those to be sworn in include: Mr. Peter L Gwom from Barkin Ladi LGA, Sule Musa Haruna, – Bassa LGA, Adams Bulus Leshak – Bokkos; Musa Ibrahim Ashoms – Jos East; Peter Nyam Gai -Jos North; Mr. Jatau Davou Gyang – Jos South; Mr. Bugama Samson Ishaku – Kanke; Ephraim Usman, Kanam; Hon. Joshua Lever Ubandoma – Langtang North; Ass. Prof. Obert Gossele Nanjul – Langtang South; and Mrs. Caroline Pangiang – Mikang.
Others are; Mrs. Dongkum Grace Shwarta – Pankshin; Mr. Chrysanthus Dawam – Quaanpan; Dr. Kachollom Pyam Gang – Riyom; Noel Naanniap Nkup – Shendam; Nyalun Salihu Ibrahim – Wase;
Bashir Lawandi Datti – Jos North; Dr. Cletus Shurkuk, Pankshin and Mrs. Jamila Tukur – Qua’an Pan
Spokesman of the governor, Gyang Bere, said in a statement on Thursday that
the swearing-in and oath will hold Friday at the Langfield Leisure Park and Garden, Rayfield, Jos.
“In his determination to revitalise government operations for improved service delivery, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, will perform the swearing-in/oath-taking ceremony of new commissioners in the state”, the statement reads.
“The significant event is scheduled to hold on Friday, August 4, 2023, at the Langfield Leisure Park and Garden, Rayfield by 11:00 am prompt
“Therefore, all esteemed guests are kindly requested to be seated by 10:30 am. The time is now to build a united and prosperous Plateau.”
