Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna state, is to showcase the achievements of his administration on May 29 as part of activities marking his second year in office.
Ibraheem Musa, Chief Press Secretary to the governor, announced this in a statement on Sunday in Kaduna.
Musa said the anniversary celebrations commenced on Friday, with prayers for peace and stability at the Kano road Mosque, Kaduna.
He added that similar prayers were also held on Sunday by Christians at the United English Baptist Church, Borno Road, Kaduna.
The statement said since Sani took over office on May 29, 2023, he has achieved a lot in the areas of rural transformation, human capital development, skills development, education, and health among others.
Musa said several township roads, as well as the remodelled and upgraded Kachia General Hospital, will be inaugurated during the celebrations.
‘’Above all, Governor Uba Sani has become the epitome of peace and inclusivity by bridging the ethno-religious divides in Kaduna state with his visionary leadership,’’ the statement said.
It called on citizens of the state to come out enmasse to celebrate the governor’s people-centred administration, “which has resulted in two years of transformational and impactful leadership.’’
