The Plateau state government has set up a central planning committee for handing over and swearing-in of incoming government on May 29.
The committee is to be inaugurated on Monday by Governor Simon Lalong at New Govermiment House, Rayfield, Jos.
This was contained in a statement from the office of the secretary to the state government (SSG).
The statement signed Peter Wuyep, a Permanent Secretary, said the committee will “liaise and ensure a smooth transitlon from the Rescue Administration to the Incoming Government.”
It said, “In view of the foregoing, the Executive Governor will inaugurate the Committee on Monday at New Govermiment House, Rayfield, Jos.”
