David Kwewum, a professional photographer and artist will, on December 1-3, 2003, host the Kuko photo and art exhibition to showcase his works over the years.
The event will hold at the Silverbird studios, Central Area, Abuja.
A graduate of Media Production (moving image) from the University of Bedfordshire, England, Kwewum’s passions for photography and filmmaking were ignited during his days in the university, specifically, to perfect his skills in cinematography and story telling.
As a student of film/media production, who aspired to be a top professional, Kwewum who graduated from the university in 2016, was very determined to excel in his chosen trade.
The exhibition is to showcase to the public his works over the years.
He loves expressing himself through his works. He started with landscape to street photography to photojournalism.
Kwewum capture everything under the sun – events coverage, coverage of corporate events, portraits, nature macro photos of flowers, photos of the beach,
often venturing in experimental projects.
“I believe that every captured moment reminds us that it is possible to relive an experience.
“As a communications and media expert, I bring a diverse range of skills and experience to the table.
“With a background in both film production and communication strategy, I am able to approach projects from both a creative and strategic perspective, ensuring that every aspect of a project is aligned with the client’s goals and objectives”, Kwewum said in a statement announcing the exhibition.
His expertise in cinematography and visual storytelling are compelling and impactful content with a burst of vibrant colours.
Whether it is a photoshoot, documentary, short film, commercial, or social media campaign, Kwewum, his knack
for details and the creative expertise to translate complex ideas into engaging visual narratives are exceptional.
Besides his technical skills, he is also a strong communicator and collaborator.
“I understand the importance of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders and am able to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
“My experience working in a variety of industries, including advertising, entertainment, and corporate communications, has given me a broad perspective on the role of communications and cinematography in achieving business objectives.

He recalled that two years ago, he had a major surgery and one of the things that crossed his mind was that every of his creative work, could have ended without showcasing the gifts God has invested in him.
“I was almost in terrible regret,
this reality fueled my determination to take a bold step for my birthday this year.
“I have curated an exhibition that takes the audience on a captivating journey through my years of artistry”, he said.
The exhibition is a collection of both public and unseen photos and members of the public are
invited to be part of this important event.
“I am carefully curating this event to be an immersive artistic expression, a deeply meaningful endeavor for me as a photographer and artist.
“I would be sharing my visual expressions, selling prints and art pieces for your homes, businesses and office spaces and talking about my wonderful expression on December 1 – 3, 2023, at victorolophastudios, Abuja”, he said.
