Some supporters of former President Muhammadu Buhari, under the auspices of “Protectors of Buhari Legacies (PBL)”, have dismissed claims that his eight year administration was a failure.
In a statement on Sunday in Kaduna, Mohammed Ajiji, coordinator of the group, maintained that Buhari made significant strides across various sectors, contributing to the overall development and progress of Nigeria
According to him, Buhari’s achievements were properly documented for the general public to access and judge him by themselves.
He urged Nigerians to disregard the misinformation being spred by people about the administration.
“Nigerians should not be misled and deceived that Buhari did not achieve anything during his two terms in office”, the statement reads.
“We are compelled to address some claims asserting that the government of former President Muhammadu Buhari did not achieved anything during its tenure. Such assertions are misleading.
“The Buhari administration made significant strides across various sectors, contributing to the overall development and progress of Nigeria.
“We encourage all concerned citizens to visit the PMB scorecard website, which meticulously outlined and provides transparent insights into the achievements of his government”.
Ajiji said noted that constructive criticism and public discourse are essential elements of a vibrant democracy, stating however, that, “such discussions must be based on accurate information and facts.”
