The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has elected former Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, as its national chairman. A former senate spokesperson, Ajibola Basiru was also elected as the party’s national secretary during the meeting at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja on Thursday.
Ganduje and Basiru’s elections follows the recent resignation of Abdullahi Adamu and Yomi Omisore former national chairman and secretary of the party respectively.
