Former sports minister, Solomon Dalung has applauded the recent appointment of Nansel Nimyel, a former staff of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), as the Executive Director of Administration and Training at of the NTA, by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Dalung, in a statement he shared on his Facebook page, said the appointment is a testament to Nimyel’s “exceptional qualifications, dedication, and leadership abilities.”
“On behalf of myself and your former colleagues during my tenure as the Youth & Sports Minister, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations on your recent appointment as the Executive Director of Administration and Training at NTA by former President Muhammadu Buhari”, the statement reads.

Nimyel, an ace broadcast journalist and producer, is a graduate of Theatre Arts/Film, from the University of Jos, Plateau state.
He started his broadcasting career as News Anchor/
Reporter/Producer at the Plateau Radio and Television Corporation (PRTVC), Jos, before joining the NTA, where he rose to the position of General Manager of the station in Lafia, Nasarawa state.
Nimyel retired from the NTA some couple of years ago.
He served as a special assistant to Dalung, who was sports minister during the first tenure of former President Mohammadu Buhari.
The former President recently appointed Nimyel as the Executive Director of Administration and Training of the NTA before leaving office on May 29, following the end of his eight-year tenure as Nigeria’s President.
