The leadership of the Plateau state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), on Monday led church leaders in the state on a peaceful protests against the continuous killings in the state and other parts of the country.
The protest tagged “Plateau Peace Walk”, was led by the state CAN chairman, Rev. Polycarp Lubo.
Other church leaders who participated in the protest include the President of Evangelical Chuch Winning All (ECWA), Rev. Stephen Baba Panya, President of Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), Rev. Amos Mohzo, Bishop of Methodist church, Jos, Rev. Nkechi Nwosu, President, Gideon and Funmi-ParaMallam Peace Foundation, Rev. Gideon ParaMallam among other prominent Christian leaders in the state.
The christian leaders commenced the peace walk from the PRTVC Roundabout in Rayfield, Jos and marched to the Government House to register their grieviances about the current security situation in the state.
