The presidential campaign rally of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is to kick off formally in Jos, the Plateau capital, on November 15.
The Director of Media and Publicity of the Presidential campaign, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday. The Plateau state governor, Simon Lalong, is Director-General of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council.
Onanuga said the campaign officially began with a town hall meeting between the APC Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, with business leaders which held in Lagos.
The statement said, a mega rally will hold in Kano on February 11, 2023 to mark the end of the campaign.
According to the statement, “Other highlights of the campaign are rallies in Imo on Monday, 21 November, Kwara 22 Nov; Adamawa 24 Nov, Ogun 26 Nov, Enugu 26 Nov and Sokoto on 30 November.
“In between the rallies are scheduled five town hall meetings, one of which will be with Interfaith groups in Abuja on 9 November.
“The other town hall meetings will be between the candidate and various business and agricultural groups.”
The statement urged party starlwarts across the country to mobilise support for Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, his running mate.
