The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25, 2023 election and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, will address a press conference on Monday.
The former vice-president is expected to react to last Thursday’s Supreme Court judgment affirming the election of President Bola Tinubu in the elections.
Atiku lost the appeal he filed at the apex court, challenging the judgement of the presidential election petition tribunal, which upheld Tinubu’s election.
A statement from the office of the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP said the press conference will focus on issues of serious national importance.
There were speculations that Abubakar would react to the supreme court judgment and possibly congratulate Tinubu, his former political ally.
