Mutfwang appoints 136 special assistants

The Plateau state governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has appointed 136 special assistants. Spokesperson to the governor, Gyang Bere, announced the appointments in a statement on Friday in Jos.
The appointments show that eight people were appointed from each of the 17 Local Government Areas of the state.
According to Bere, the appointments are the first batch.
He said the appointees “will assume their roles and responsibilities immediately.”
The statement added that portfolios for the appointees will be communicated to them in their respective Local Government Areas.
