Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are to meet on Tuesday to discuss the state of the nation.
This was contained in a statement on Monday in Abuja by the Director General of the PDP forum, Cyril Maduabum.
The statement added that the governors will also discuss state of the PDP.
The party won the governorship election in 10 states during the 2023 general elections. Maduabum said the meeting, which is the first since the election of Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, as chairperson of the forum.
He said the meeting will hold at the Akwa Ibom governor’s lodge in Abuja.
According to the statement, “The forum is expected to discuss the state of the nation, especially recent developments in the country, politically, socially, and economically.
“The meeting will also discuss the state of the forum, the party, PDP and the role of the PDP governors in stabilising the PDP and the nation.”
Maduabum said the “new leadership of the forum may likely unfold their unity and progressive agenda during the meeting during the meeting.
