The Arewa Youth Assembly (AYA), has felicitated with Ali Muhammed Zarah, Managing Director, Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), Limited as he clocks 59.
In a statement on Thursday in Kaduna, the group described Zarah as a perfect gentleman, a workaholic and an achiever. The statement signed by Mohammed Salihu Danlami, spokesman of the AYA, said Zarah had been a pace setter right from his days in the bank and the Nigerian Deposit and Insurance Company (NDIC), where he left his footprints as an IT professional.
“Today, we celebrate a quintessential leader, a perfect gentleman, a bulldozer of work and a national figure on the numerous achievements you have recorded”, the statement reads.
“No doubts, these valuable and selfless contributions have remained pivotal to the very many successes attained in the NPDC Ltd, oil & gas sector and our dear nation.
“From your days in the bank, to those in the NDIC, you have always left a trade mark of success as an IT professional. “The success story is not different in the NDPC Ltd. As a technical lead, you efficiently designed and implemented the eMarketPlace system with the Project PACE IT Team, an initiation that automated the Upstream Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry procurement process. You rose to head the IT Department that built NipeX. Surely, the NNPC Ltd, is resting on a solid foundation built by your IT skills and technical mastery.
NPDC Ltd is truly fortunate to have you as its Managing Ditector. The Arewa extraction and indeed Nigeria as a country are proud to have you as one of their best and appreciate your dedication and hard work.
“It is worthy of not only celebrating you but emulating you as well.
“Even as you turn 59, you have continuously distinguished yourself with excellence.
“We therefore, pray that Allah SWT in his infinite mercy, grant you long life and health, fortify you with the wisdom, courage, strength and guide you to discharge your duties even better.
“On behalf of the Arewa Youth Assembly, I wish to join your family, friends, associates and all Nigerians in wishing you a very Happy and successful birthday.”
