The Kaduna state governor, Senator Uba Sani, has appointed Ahmed Maiyaki as the commissioner for information.
Maiyaki, who until his appointment on Tuesday, was the Managing Director of the State owned Kaduna Media Corporation (KSMC).
He succeeded Mohammed Bello.
In a statement, Ibraheem Musa, spokesperson to the governor, said Bello was relieved of his position as Commissioner of Information as well as member of the State Executive Council

The statement also acknowledged Bello’s service as the Commissioner of Education and his role as Commissioner of Information in the Sani administration and
wished him success in his future endeavours.
