Mutfwang dissolves LG transition committees

Plateau state governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has announced the dissolution of Local Government Transition Committee in the 17 LGAs of the state.
Gyang Bere, spokesperson of the governor announced the dissolution in a statement in Jos.
He said the dissolution takes effective from September 6, 2024.
The statement directed Directors of Personnel Management (DPMs) to assume responsibility for the administration of the LGAs pending elections council elections slated for October 9, 2024.
Mutfwang commended the outgoing Transition Committee members for their exemplary leadership and dedication to advancing developmental projects that have impacted their communities.
He urged them to continue offering valuable counsel to promote peace and unity within the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau state.
Mutfwang charged the former council officials to collaborate with their constituents to ensure that the PDP emerges victorious during the council polls.
The governor reaffirmed his commitment to running an inclusive, transparent, and accountable government that serves the interests of all Plateau citizens.
