KOBA fixes May 20 for AGM, Cheetah award

The Keffi Old Boys Association (KOBA), an umbrella body for old students of Government College, Keffi, Nasarawa state, is to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the college on May 20, 2022.
The event which was initially scheduled to hold on March 26, was postponed as it coincided with the National Convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) which appears to have run into trouble waters.
A statement on Monday by Sam Israel, Secretary General of the association, said, members are expected in the college on May 19, for registration and participation in sporting activities as part of the programme for the AGM on Friday, May 20.
Israel also announced that the “Cheetah Award Night” will hold on Saturday, May 21, at the Shehu Musa Yar’dua Centre, Abuja, the nation’s capital.
He said, all members are “encouraged to attend unfailingly.”
The statement which was shared on the WhatsApp platform of the association reads:
“The new date for the Annual General Meeting AGM is as follows:
“Thursday 19th April, 2022: Arrival date to Keffi for registration/Sporting Activities.
“Friday, 20th April, 2022: AGM at Government College Keffi.
“Saturday, 21st April, 2022: Cheetah Award Night at Shehu Musa Yar’dua center Abuja.
“All the activities, members are encouraged to attend unfailingly.”
