The Christian Association of Nigeria in the 19 Northern States (Northern CAN) and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), will hold a three day special prayer summit commencing on Wednesday in Kaduna. General Secretary of Northern CAN, Elder Sunday Oibe, disclosed this in a telephone chat on Tuesday.
Oibe said the three day prayer summit, which kicks off on Wednesday will last till Friday December 16.
He said the event will be chaired by the Chairman of Northern CAN, Rev. Yakubu Pam.
According to him, the prayer summit, with the theme, “Managing diversity, that they may be one”, is expected to be attended by Governors Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Darius Ishaku of Taraba state, Simon Lalong of Plateau state.
Oibe added that the President of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN), Archbishop Filibus, is the guest speaker speaker at the summit, while the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha will present a key note address.
