The Kaduna state governor has appointed Ibraheem Musa as his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), alongside 12 others.
The appointments were announced on Thursday night in a state by Febian Okoye, Special Adviser to the Governor on Research, Documentation & Strategy.
Okoye said the appointments were aimed at “reinvigorating effective and efficient service delivery to the people.”
Until his appointment, Musa was a media consultant to the governor.
He also served as a senior special assistant on media and publicity under the administration of ex- governor Nasir El-Rufai.
Other appointees include, Shuaibu Kabir Bello – Managing Director, Kaduna Mining Development Company (KMDC); Iliya Timbuak – Managing Director, Kaduna State Enterprise Development Agency (KADEDA), John Danfulani – Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Residents Identity Management Agency (KADRIMA), Mohammed Mubarak – Acting Executive Secretary, Kaduna State State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and Aliyu Saeed – Executive Director (Finance and Administration), Kaduna Mining Development Company (KDMC).
Also appointment are, Muhammad Salisu – Executive Director (Operations), Kaduna Markets Development and Management Company (KMDMC), Shehu Usman Ibrahim – Special Assistant, Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters; Falmata U. Abacha – Senior Special Assistant – Social Investment; Abdulhadi Abdullahi Makarfi – Executive Director, (Operations) Kaduna State Enterprise Development Agency (KADEDA), Iyal Auwal Yahaya – Executive Director (Finance and Administration), Kaduna State Enterprise Development Agency (KADEDA); Bashir Tijjani Babajo – Special Assistant, Special Duties and Ruth Popoola – Senior Special Assistant on Financial Inclusion.
The statement added that all the appointments are with immediate effect.
